Toma, Fisico!

SHUMI DID IT!

April 22nd, 2006 by fisico

After more than a decade in Formula1™, Shumacher
have set another record that will be very hard to beat (unless by himself off
course). Michael 66th pole was the result of a great weekend for the Ferrari™
team. Running in their home GP, the Italian fans couldn’t ask for more! Next on
him on the grid for today’s race is Honda’s™ J. Button, and follow him is his
teammate and former Ferrari driver R. Barrichello. Then Fellipe Massa also a
Ferrari. Current world champion F. Alonso have had a blow this weekend thus,
qualifying on 5th, followed by R. Shumacher of Toyota™, then the two Mc-Laren
JP. Montoya and ice man K. Raikkonen. Then it was the other Toyota™ of J.
Trulli and the Williams™ of M. Webber. On the 11th place was Fisico, who was
eliminated at the second qualifying by just thousands of a second. Followed him
is former world champion J. Villeneuve.

What a qualfying, i’m sure it will be a great race
this evening.

A perfect day for the Safety Car!

April 2nd, 2006 by fisico

What an action packed weekend! Just
as the cars are forming after their warm up lap Montoya spin on the track, and
when the green light is about to illuminate, Giancarlo got a problem starting
his car, thus an additional warm up lap was needed and forcing Fisico to star
at the pit lane.

On the start of the race just
after turn one, Trulli had a problem, then Massa
and Rosberg had a collision thus a SC was needed. After the SC was called out Alonso overtakes
the race leader Jenson Button. But as Alonso is stepping up the pace another
SC was called out due to the debris
from Klien’s car that has crashed on the wall.

And after the SC was called in,
Liuzzi did a superb run by overtaking Michael in his STR™, and Montoya as well
was overtaken by his teammate Kimi.

Alonso came into pit for the
first time after lap 19 and Kimi followed suite after a lap, thus Australian
Mark Webber become the race leader.

But on lap 23, current race
leader Mark Webber who is doing a good race on his home GP have had an engine problem,
thus Alonso regain the lead from him.

On lap 34th lap
Michael Schumacher have had a problem on his car, thus sending him to crash on
the wall. There goes the last Ferrari on the track!

Due to this a third SC was needed. And this was used by most team to do their
routine pit stop. Gaining advantage from these are Ralf Schumacher, Nick Heidfeld,
and Fisico to name a few. But this pit stop have caused a delay as well
specially to Juan Pablo Montoya, for when he entered the pit lane his teammate
Kimi Raikkonen is not yet done with his refueling, thus it cause valuable
seconds for Montoya.

The timing of the exit for the 2
McLaren™ driver could have never been this unlucky, at the back of the SC was
the race leader Alonso and he was followed by 2 Midland™ drivers and Nick
Heidfeld, after them goes Kimi, so while on the SC run Kimi can’t overtake the
2 back marker Midland™ and Nick that are in front of him, thus after the SC was
called in this caused a lot of seconds for him to get pass them. And this is
what the race leader Alonso needed to widen the gap from the second placer Heidfeld.

But again as Alonso is widening
the gap, Liuzzi of the STR™ crashed his car to the wall, thus sending the
fourth
SC in. This incident
was used by Kimi and Ralf to their advantage as they grab the 2nd
and 3rd position.

After the 4th SC Alonso
tried to widen further the gap from him and Kimi, Montoya tried hard to catch
up 3rd placer Ralf Schumacher, but it seems as luck is not in his favor
as he have had a problem with his car, in almost the same place where Shumi
crashed the wall, thus sending the Columbian to retirement.

So the current race position now
is Alonso, Kimi, Ralf, Nick, Button, Fisico, Jacques Villenueve, Rubens, rookie
Scott Speed and David. It seems to me that this will be the final position for
the race. But I was wrong.

As Fisico keep hard to overtake
Button it will seem that the Italian can’t do it, so he will just have to
settle for 6th place. But luck is not in Button’s side as well. Just
2 more turn to go to end the race; his engine blew as well as his chance to get
4 points. Thus Fisico grab the 5th spot. This is just what the
rookie Scott Speed needed to gain his first ever point in his F1 career.

So the final Result for the 2006
Formula 1™ Fosters Australian GP are as follow:

  1. Alonso -10 points
  2. Kimi – 8 points
  3. Ralf – 6 points
  4. Nick -5 points
  5. Giancarlo – 4 points
  6. Jacques – 3 points
  7. Rubens – 2 points
  8. Scott – 1 point

Honda on top!

March 31st, 2006 by fisico

It was an exciting qualifying
weekend for the 2006 Fosters Formula 1™ Grand Prix. Jenson Button got the provisional
pole for Honda™, while last year’s winner Giancarlo Fisichella got the second
and teammate (Renault™) Fernando Alonso got third. Kimi Raikkonen is fourth, while
teammate (McLaren™) Juan Pablo Montoya got fifth. Ralf Schumacher of Toyota™ is
six, Mark Webber of Williams™ is seventh, Nick Heidfeld of Sauber™ is eight,
while teammate Jacques Villeneuve is ninth but he will drop ten places for
engine change, so we will see Jarno Trulli of Toyota™ at the ninth grid
tomorrow instead and Michael Schumacher of Ferrari™ will grab the tenth place
of the grid.

That’s both the Renault™, both the
McLaren™, both the Toyota™, and both the Sauber™, a Honda™ and a Ferrari™ in
the top ten for tomorrow’s race. Men it’s going to be exciting! Just hope
Renault™ can keep up their pace, and I do hope that Fisico’s engine could last
this race weekend; a back-to-back win will be good.

It was a disappointing qualifying
for both the Super Aguri™, Ide have a hard time running his car while Sato’s
luck is also not good, and both will start at the last grid tomorrow.

And it was a terrible qualifying
for Felipe Massa of Ferrari™ as well for he has spin out of the track on the
second qualifying session, thus a red flag was waved. What a terrible blow for
the Brazilian!

But just how low does the Honda™ is
running? It’s a question that can be answer tomorrow at the 2006 Fosters
Formula 1™ GP.

Alas free from the ruthless oppression that what I once
called craft!

Good luck to you all. May you prove me wrong, for I don’t
want you to experience what I had gone through.

It has been a decision that I can now accept as proper! But
as I had said to you all, it was my privilege that I have had been acquainted
with you. Regrets are not for me to embrace, for there was none. Ill feelings
are not for me to contain, for I have no right.

May we all uncover what is apt for us!

Le Gran Fisico II

March 20th, 2006 by fisico

From last year’s dissapointing race following a collision with Mark Webber(William-BMW™), to this years superb race weekend. A pole position on the Qualifying and a podium finish, thus he claim his third GP win in Formula1™.  Well done Fisico!

Teammate Fernando got the second podium, thus increasing his points to 18. And to Renault™ 28 points for the constructors championship .

Kimi had a terrible weekend, he haven’t even seen the rest of the first lap, for he have had an accident just right after the race started. What a terrible blow for him! Christian Klien(RBR™) have collided to his back just as they are turning on turn 5.

Both Williams™ as well have had a terrible weekend, from last race fantastic run to this race dismal performance, both Mark and Nico have had an engine problem. Does this mean they have exhausted their engine last race weekend, thus compromising this one?

Its 2 more week before the start of the Australian GP. I’m sure it will to be a great weekend. Last year Fisico was on the top of the podium, will he be back in it? I just hope so!

Le Gran Fisico

March 18th, 2006 by fisico

Yesterday was a great run for Fisico, finishing at 1:33.840 for the pole position in this afternoon race.
Does this mean that his mechanics are now starting to do their job well?
It was a great finishing lap for him, after the chequered flag have been waved to signal the conclusion for the 20 minutes final qualifying Fisico have set the fastest lap of the afternoon.
From last year’s disappointing race in Sepang, will this year be good for him?
Let’s all find out later, sure it will be another spectacular race.

Jenson Button of Honda got P2, while rookie Nico Rosberg of Williams-Cosworth got P3, P4 was grab by Michael Shumacher, but due to engine change he will be drop 10 places, so P4 will then go to Nico’s teammate Mark webber.

Unexpectedly Expected!

March 14th, 2006 by fisico

On My Point of View
BAHRAIN GP
by: Glenn

Unexpectedly Experted was Shumacher’s return to the podium. From last years dismal performance I don’t expect to see him in the podium again, but at the back of my mind I somewhat expected the 7 times world champion to have his comeback this season.

Unexpected as well was Nico Rosberg performance. I haven’t expected him getting a point in his first ever GP and to even set the fastest Lap time for last sundays race.  But then again, I somewhat expected him to do well in his first GP for Williams™ have trusted him to be their driver.

And  my biggest unexpectation was to Giancarlo Fisichella, I didn’t expect him to have another car related problem again, I somewhat expected that from last year’s many car related problem, this year would be good for him. But then again Renualt™ engineer’s seems not to give him a better car yet again!

Another record for the great Shumi

March 11th, 2006 by fisico

Shumacher have done it again!

He got the provisional pole yesterday at the qualifying lap for the Formula 1™ Bahrain GP.
He have tied in for the most number of provisional pole with Ayrton Senna’s record of 65 pole position.

So, could we consider that as a come back for Shumi, it’s too early to say, but what I believe is that this year Shumi will going to beat that record of 65 pole position and create a new record that it will take the next generation F1™ drivers hard to beat.

But its not all celebration yesterday in the paddock as Kimi have had a bad run in the all new qualifying format, he become the first one to be in trouble for this F1™ season qualifying. He had a right rear suspension failure.

The Reneult™ team have not had a good run yesterday, they get the 4th place for the current World champion Alonso and a 9th place for his teammate Fisichella. The number 2 slot was grab by Shumi’s new teammate Felipe Massa and the number 3 position in  this afternoon race  went to  Jenson Button of Honda.

Surely it will going to be a great race this afternoon for this years FIA F1™ season. So make sure your glued to your television later, or logged on to the live timing at www.f1.com for blow-by-blow account.
